Angie's untimely death on April 20th at the age of 41 has left her young children (4, 7, 14 & 16) in need of our support.
Angie was loved and respected by friends, co-workers and her community. Her joy and love for her children was apparent to everyone that knew her. In spite of losing her daughter Avery (13) in a tragic car accident in August 2011, Angie managed to keep a positive outlook on life. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and co-workers.
The funeral will be held at the Union United Methodist Church, 201 Railroad Avenue in St. Michaels starting at 1 PM on Monday, April 29th with interment later that day at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Cambridge.
Angie was busy raising her younger children - two teenage daughters, Noah (16) and Reagan (14) along with her adopted son Jerome (7) and her son Loki (4). Her oldest son Quartez (23) works and lives in this area. Her two teenage daughters are on the honor roll at St. Michaels High School. Noah plays basketball and Reagan lacrosse. Raising her four younger children was a huge challenge, but Angie did it with grace and was not one to complain. Our hearts are with her children, who will always remember their loving, sensitive and caring mother.
Angie's Mom (Manie Bechtel) is busy working out the living arrangements with other family members for the four younger children Your donations will be used by the children's custodians for their support. If you own a restaurant or business in this area, your participation in a "Angela Bechtel Memorial Night" or special event where a portion of the proceeds would go to this very worthwhile cause will be deeply appreciated! Together we will provide significant financial support for her children.
Your support and donationss will enable us to provide significant funds needed for the children in the years ahead.
With all of us working together, we can accomplish great things. To volunteer or contribute to our fundraiser, send us a message. We will get back to you soon.
